Goals from Gareth Bale and Tom Huddlestone meant that Tottenham advanced to the next round with a 2-0 win over Middlesbrough. Bale was played through on goal for the opener after he linked up well with Robbie Keane, he cooly rounded the goalkeeper to finish. While the second goal came from an Aaron Lennon cross which was nodded home at the far post by Huddlestone. |
