Mick McCarthy has put together a healthy and hungry young team and there is a lot of optimism that the team will last at least a few years in the EPL. The team made their largest transfer splash in history by bringing in Kevin Doyle for a sum of 6.5 million pounds. McCarthy would love to get his hands on Chelsea’s Michael Mancienne but doesn’t appear to have enough money that he is allowed to use. The team rounded out their roster by bringing in players like Ronald Zubar, Marcus Hahnemann and Andrew Surham to ensure that can compete at this level.

The Wolves are eager to do a lot better than they did last time they made it to the Premier League. McCarthy has a lot to prove as well after getting fried from Sunderland when he last managed in the league. It will be a struggle for the team to say the least but the do have some young talent which will be exciting to watch. Also keep an eye on Mancienne who may end up coming over and really helping the team.
