Japan open their Asian Cup campaign against Jordan this weekend, hoping to secure a record fourth Asian Cup title and book their place in the 2013 Confederations Cup. Catch Japan v Jordan live Asian Cup streaming with Ole Ole Football.

Japan coach Alberto Zaccheroni took over the reins after the World Cup in South Africa. He has chosen a 23-member squad which consists of a fair mix of players based out of Japan and Europe. All the focus will be on CSKA’s Keisuke Honda and Dortmund’s Shinji Kagawa – the two players who are expected to lead Japan’s attack. Gamba Osaka midfielder Yasuhito Endo will be playing in his third Asian Cup. His experience will come in very hand to the young Japanese outfit.

Jordan have an uphill task of qualifying from Group B. They scraped past Singapore on the last match day to finish second in their group in the qualifiers. In the six qualification games, they could only score a total sum of four goals. Al Wahdat playmaker Amer Deeb, and striker Odai Saify, who plays in Cyprus, need to fire for Jordan if they are to upset the Samurai Blue.
