The Black Antelopes topped Group A with one win and two draws and played some entertaining football scoring on six occasions. The only downside was that the goals came from three different goal scorers only in Flavio, Manucho and Gilberto. Manuel Jose will be hoping for his other attacking players like Djalma, Ze Kalanga and Mantorras to rise to the occasion and find the back of the net.

Angolan midfielder Dede who limped off in the first game against Mali has not featured since and is a doubt for the quarter final. The Palancas Negras are even sweating over the fitness of tournament’s leading marksman Flavio who heads the goal-scoring charts with his 3 goals.

Ghana have looked a pale shadow of the side which qualified for the 2010 World Cup. In the do-or-die game against Burkina Faso, an Andre Ayew header at the far post ensured their qualification. But apart from that goal, they did not create any convincing chances.

Ghana will be without the services of Michael Essien who has been ruled out of the tournament. Anthony Annan and John Mensah have not featured so far and they face a race against time to be fit for the game against Angola. AC Milan youngster Dominic Adiyiah could start in place of the experienced Matthew Amoah who has been ineffective in the two games so far.
