For the first time, four teams with a lot to bring to the table will be contesting the premier event called the Audi Cup. This exciting two day tournament is celebrating the car manufacturer, Audi AG, having 100 years of trading. This association football tournament features four teams that will play the first day. Two of those are Bayern Munich and AC Milan, from Germany and Italy respectively, as well as England's Manchester United and Argentina's Boca Juniors. A total of four games will be played. Two on the first day, with the matches listed previously, and then a playoff for third place on day two, between the two losers of the day one tournaments, and of course, the Audi Cup Final, where the two winners of the day one games will compete for the Audi Cup Trophy.

The games are back to back, and Germany's Bayern Munich certainly have the home field advantage, as this event will be hosted by them, in their own Allianz Stadium in Munich. Bayern Munich is the most successful German football club ever, having taken home a total of 21 German titles and no less than 14 Cup titles. The team also has four trophies from the European Cup and have been a runner up three different times.

Bayern Munich and AC Milan both have new managers, Louis Van Gaal at Bayern and Leonardo as the new manager of AC Milan. Milan has American Oguchi Onyewu, and Coach Leonardo may decide to put him out front for this tournament. Bayern has Anatoliy Tymoschuk however, to combat this new talent. There is no question that the former Zenit captain will be starting in the Cup and he has some impressive passing and striking skills.
