It's the inaugural Audi Cup, for the 2009-2010 season. This event will be played for the first time at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, a two day event played on July 29^th and July 30^th. This competition is celebrating Audi AG's 100^th year of trading. This pre season association football event will feature four teams, England's Manchester United, Germany's Bayern Munich, Boca Juniors from Argentina and Italy's AC Milan. Day one will feature two games, played back to back, where the two winners will advance to the final on the next day. The two losers will play each other for third place. The pairings for day one are Manchester United and Boca Juniors.

Manchester United is Captained by Gary Neville and co-captained by Ryan Giggs. This team is fresh in our minds as the 2008 champions of the FIFA World Cup, as well as having won six premier league championships since the early 2000 season. The team has eleven FA Cup victories with the most recent in 2004, and nine League Cup victories include one for this season. The team is based in Trafford, Greater Manchester. Two new signees will be playing in the Cup for Man United, Antonio Valencia and Michael Owen and both have something to prove so watch them to perform well.

As for their opponents, Argentina's Boca Juniors, they have a very impressive record of 18 international titles, and were the 2007 runners up to the FIFA World Cup. The team has won the Intercontinental Cup three different times, setting a record, with the most recent win in 2003.
