Bayern Munich will take on FC Kaiserslautern in their second game of the 2010/11 Bundesliga season. The German champions will be favourites to come out on top at the Fritz Walter Stadion despite a missing Arjen Robben. The Dutch international was injured while playing in the world cup and will miss the first part of the season. You can see how much difference it makes with live streaming football from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
Kaiserslautern resides in second spot for the time being after a convincing win of FC Koln. Podolski came off when he was booked shortly after his team equalised. Kaiserslautern then went on to win it with another 2 goals from Srdjan Lakic who looks very sharp. They are obviously riding on a wave of euphoria at the moment but could well be brought down to earth by Louis van Gaal’s side.
Bayern will not be overly worried as their side is more than capable of making the trip to the newly promoted team’s ground. Thomas Muller and Bastian Schweinsteiger were the two scorers in their win this week against Wolfsburg in which Bayern enjoyed 68% possession. With that sort of control on the pitch it’ll be hard for Kaiser to make much of an impact. Their only hope will be to try and close Bayern down and at the same time watch out for space opening up behind.
The Bavarians are apparently backing Franck Ribery in a case that has him accused of sleeping with an underage prostitute in France. The news may be upsetting for the individual but it is business as usual for the rest of the team. There is some good news though as Ivica Olic could be back from his knee injury in time for the next game. See if he makes the pitch with live streams at oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
