Last weekend Bayern entertained Eintracht Frankfurt at the Allianz Arena and the game was as tight as it was exciting. It was the visitors that took the lead in the game when Meier scored in the 60^th minute. This acted like a wakeup call for the Bavarian giants as they managed to turn things around with goals from Robben in the 70^th and Van Buyten just two minutes from time.

As a consequence the team are only four points behind the leaders but are still only in fifth position. Nevertheless, it’s closer than they were before last weekend's games were played.

For their part, Stuttgart are having an awful season by their own high standards. In ten games played so far, they have only won two of them, drawing a further two and losing the other six. They are fourteenth in the league with eight points. Last weekend they lost 1-0 away to Hannover.
