Birmingham City and Brentford meet after a gap of nearly fifteen years on Tuesday as the two teams do battle in the fourth round of the Carling Cup. See all the action from Birmingham vs Brentford live on Ole Ole Football.

Brentford have only managed to beat Birmingham once in the last seventy five years. That victory took place in November 1936. Since then, Birmingham have gone on to win seven of the eight clashes between the two sides, with one ending in a draw.

Brentford stunned Everton on penalties in the previous round. Goalkeeper Richard Lee was the hero for the Bees on that night as he produced a string of excellent saves to deny Everton time and again. Lee also saved a penalty from Toffees forward Jermaine Beckford in the penalty shootout.

Myles Weston, Nicky Forster, Michael Spillane and Charlie MacDonald scored for Brentford in the shootout. Weston also provided the cross that lead to Gary Alexander’s equaliser in the normal time.
