Stoke City will be looking to secure a second successive win at Upton Park and knock the Hammers out of the Carling Cup when the two sides clash in the fourth round of the competition on Wednesday. See West Ham vs Stoke live in the Carling Cup at Ole Ole Football.

Stoke’s last visit to West Ham came in March 2010. The Potters won 1-0, with Ricardo Fuller scoring the only goal of the game midway through the second half. Fuller’s striking partner Mamady Sidibe will be unavailable for Stoke on Wednesday as he is sidelined through injury.

Stoke’s route to the fourth round has come thanks to wins over Shrewsbury Town and Fulham at home. Jon Walters and Sanli Tuncay netted for the Potters against the Shrews, while Kenwyne Jones and Danny Higginbotham were on target against Fulham.

West Ham beat League Two side Oxford United 1-0 in the second round and saw off Sunderland 2-1 at the Stadium of Light in the third round. Coach Avram Grant’s main cause for concern is his side’s goal shyness, and he has not been helped by injuries to key players.
