CSKA spurned a golden chance to throw Group B open when they squandered a two goal lead at Old Trafford to draw 3-3 against Manchester United on Match Day 4. Goals from Alan Dzagoev, Milos Krasic and Vasili Berezutski gave the Russian side a 3-1 lead, but late strikes from Paul Scholes and Luis Valencia allowed United to escape with a point.

However Peer Kluge scored a dramatic late goal to allow Nurnberg to pick up only their third league win of the season.

Even a draw will suffice for Armin Veh’s men against CSKA. They beat the Russians 3-0 on Match Day 1 at the Volkswagen Arena, with Grafite scoring a hat trick.
