United won 3-2 in Milan in the first leg thanks to Wayne Rooney’ brace. On Saturday, they struggled to overcome Wolves at Molineux, but managed to come away with a win thanks to Paul Scholes’ 100^th Premier League goal. Rooney is a serious injury doubt for the second leg while midfielder Michael Carrick is suspended. Ryan Giggs and Michael Owen will also have to watch the game from the sidelines.

Milan had their four game winning run halted by AS Roma on Saturday. Despite dominating the game, Leonardo’s men could not find a way past the Giallorossi. Young Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato missed the Roma game with a hamstring problem and is a doubt for the trip north to Old Trafford.
