Porto would be eager to avenge their defeat against Chelsea on Matchday 1. A solitary Nicolas Anelka goal gave the English side victory at Stamford Bridge but Jesualdo Ferreira’s men would have different ideas at home, especially when finishing atop Group D could possibly mean easier opposition in the first knockout phase.

Colombian Radamel Falcao, whose goal against APOEL on Matchday Four ensured Porto’s passage into the knockout stages, will be the main thorn in Chelsea’s flesh. Porto’s defenders will also not have to contend with the threat of Didier Drogba, with the Ivory Coast skipper likely to sit out this game.

Bosingwa is sidelined for over three months with an injury. Also missing the game is midfielder Frank Lampard. The England international suffered a thigh tear when away on international duty. Chelsea would also be looking to rest a few key names ahead of their 29^th November visit to Arsenal in the English Premier League.
