The European Championships Group B will see table toppers Russia go to Armenia for their fifth game on Saturday March 26th 2011. The Group stages have seen many away trips for Russia already with only one of their four games played at home. That oddly enough resulted in Russia’s only loss in the opening stages so travelling is something the Russian national team are good at. See if Armenia can hold them with live streaming European Championships at oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
The Armenians are in second place in the group having lost only their opening game against the Republic of Ireland back in September. That too was a home fixture but then they went on to score nine goals in their next three games which took them up the table with seven points and snapping at Russia’s heels. Their most consistent striker Yuri Movsisyan has scored in each of Armenia’s last three Euro Championships meetings but can’t seem to break in to his club team FK Krasnodar who are based in Russia. He has only managed 45 minutes this season but a good display against Russian opponents may force his manager’s hand.
Russia’s best performer in front of goal has been Alexander Kerzhakov who can’t seem to break in to the Zenit St Petersburg team. With lots of talent from the English Premier League up front in the form of Roman Pavlyuchenko and Andrey Arshavin the talented Zenit player could make a name for himself in this competition. See if he can find the net again with live streaming European Championship football from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
