Vicente Del Bosque’s Spain side will host Raimondas Žutautas’ Lithuania side in the European Cup qualifiers on October 8 2010. Having won their opening game, World Cup winners Spain will be looking to build on their recent success and pick up the three points. Despite being classed as the underdogs, Lithuania cannot be ruled out after getting four points in their first two games. With both sides hopeful of qualifying, it may prove to be an exciting match.
Vicente Del Bosque’s starting line up will probably consist of defenders Puyol, Piqué, Sergio Ramos and Capdevila in a hope of giving the Lithuania strikers a difficult time. Xabi Alonso, David Silva, Xavi and World Cup final goal scorer Iniesta will likely occupy part of the midfield and could prove essential in Spain’s chances of qualifying. Cesc Fàbregas and Jesús Navas may also make an appearance in the midfield. David Villa and Fernando Torres are almost a certainty to start up front if both deemed fit.
Raimondas Žutautas’ starting eleven will likely feature Stankevicius and Saulius Mikoliunas. Lithuania will be hoping to upset the Spanish fans and take home the three points. See if they can with live streaming from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
