England’s first major test of their Euro 2012 qualifying campaign sees the Three Lions travel to Basel to take on Ottmar Hitzfeld’s Switzerland in Group G. See Switzerland vs England live footy streaming by joining Ole Ole Football today.

The Swiss are regarded by many as England’s only major opponents in a group that also consists of Montenegro, Wales and Bulgaria. Ottmar Hitzfeld has turned his side into a well organized one, but their inability to score in front of goal remains a point of worry for the Swiss gaffer.

The Swiss drew 0-0 with Australia in St.Gallen on Friday. Skipper Alexander Frei missed a second half penalty earned by David Degen as his side’s poor form upfront continued. Switzerland have scored only four times in their last ten international outings- a statistic that has to be modified if they are to beat the likes of England.

England on the other hand cruised to a comfortable 4-0 win over Bulgaria at Wembley on Friday. Jermain Defoe scored a hat trick for the Three Lions with young winger Adam Johnson netting the fourth seven minutes from time. Tottenham Hotspur defender Michael Dawson will miss the trip to Basel after picking up a knee injury against Bulgaria.
