Europa League Group I leaders Benfica travel to Belarus this coming Wednesday evening as the competition reaches matchday five. When these two sides met in Lisbon on matchday one, Benfica managed to secure a 2-0 win. Since then they have gone on to win another two games, while losing just one. They also have a great goal difference that currently reads scored nine, against one. Prior to last weekend’s league fixtures which at the time of writing this were unknown, Benfica were joint top of the Portuguese league with Braga, both on 25 points, while BATE have already secured the league title in Belarus for the fourth consecutive season and as such enter the qualifying stages of next season’s Champions league again.
