As things stand in the group both teams could face elimination this week should results go against them. Basel lead Group E with nine points, followed by Roma on seven. On Saturday they could only manage a 0-0 draw away to Cherno More. For their part, Fulham come into the game against the Bulgarians on the back of a 1-1 home draw with Bolton Wanderers in the English Premier League. They sit tenth in the table with nineteen points.
