Europa league minnows Trabzonspor will host European giants Liverpool in the second leg Europa League fixture. The Turkish side played well in the first half of leg one of the tie but were outclassed after Roy Hodgson got hold of his team in the changing room at the interval. Trabzonspor will have no intention of rolling over and conceding defeat with only one goal in it. They created more than enough chances in the first encounter and were only stopped from equalising by a ‘back to his self’ Pepe Reina. They can certainly put passes together on the pitch and proved they are no push over at Anfield. If they can last for the 45 minutes without conceding then this game could go either way. It’s never easy to play in Turkey in European competition and it’s not likely to change for Liverpool.

The facts are though, the five times Champions of Europe should have more than enough talent to see these off. All they need to do is make it work on the night. The 1-0 score line flattered the Turkish side to a degree as Liverpool was denied a clear goal by the referee and Cole messed up a penalty. There is probably going to be a big change in the Lineup as Liverpool looked out of sorts at times in the first time but they will probably resort playing safe. At least until the game has been effectively won.
