Arsenal come into the tie on the back of a 3-1 win against Hull, although the season has not gone to plan so far for boss Arsene Wenger, as the Gunners lie 5th in the table and are currently outside the Champions League spot. Both William Gallas and Mikael Silvestre could make a return after both returning to training following injuries.
