The Blues thrashed Wigan Athletic 8-0 last Sunday to bring the Premier League trophy back to Stamford Bridge. Carlo Ancelotti’s side have scored a total of sixteen goals in five games en route to this final meeting against Pompey. They beat Aston Villa 3-0 in the semis, with goals from Didier Drogba, Florent Malouda and Frank Lampard enough to quell the challenge of the Midlands outfit.

For Pompey, this is the best chance for redeeming what has otherwise been a forgettable season. The cash strapped club will not be playing in the Premier League next season after their relegation into the Championship. Pompey stunned Chelsea’s London neighbours Tottenham Hotspur in the last four. Frederic Piquionne has found the back of the net in Pompey’s last two FA Cup games and will be keen to make it three in a row on Saturday.
