When the sides clashed at Molineaux in the first game, it was Palace who took the game to the Premier League side. He may deem league survival above FA Cup progress and field a weakened team, much the same s he did in the league game away to Manchester United a couple of months ago.

Palace are currently twentieth in the Championship and have thirty points to their name. At the weekend they beat Peterborough 2-0 at home.
