Premiership side Aston Villa travel to the Keepmoat stadium to face Coca-Cola Championship side Doncaster Rovers in the fourth round of the F.A Cup at 15:00 GMT on Saturday 24th January.

Doncaster were the last side to progress to the fourth round after taking 3 games to knock out League One side Cheltenham Town. The original game was called off due to a frozen pitch at Whaddon Road, the postponed game then eventually finished in a 0-0 draw a week later and the Rovers finally beat Cheltenham 3-0 this week to progress. The club are in need of a boost as they sit dangerously in the relegation zone in their first season in the Championship.

Doncaster will be without defender James Chambers, who is suspended for this weekend’s game after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season. However, Gareth Roberts could fill in for Chambers after making a return from injury earlier this week,

Aston Villa only took one attempt to progress with a 2-1 away win at Gillingham earlier this month, with James Milner netting both goals for Villa. The Premier League side come into the game in great form, having not lost a domestic based game since the start of November as they ride high in 4^th position in the Premier League. 

The Villans could be boosted by the return of duo Wilfred Bouma and John Carew, who have both resumed full training after lengthy spells out of the game. Martin O'Neill is likely to field a strong side as Villa look for their first peice of silverware since they won the League cup back in 1996.
