After demolishing Ipswich Town in the third round of the tournament a few weeks ago, Chelsea will look to mete out the same treatment to David Moyes’ Everton when the two sides meet in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday. The Blues were in scintillating form against Ipswich at Stamford Bridge. Salomon Kalou set them on their way with his 33rd minute effort and a goal for Daniel Sturridge plus an own goal for Ipswich’s Carlos Edwards saw them go into the break 3-0 ahead. Nicolas Anelka scored the fourth, with Sturridge claiming his second of the game three minutes later. A brace for influential midfielder Frank Lampard completed a fabulous day for Carlo Ancelotti’s men.

Everton had five different players on the score sheet as they thrashed Scunthorpe United 5-1 at Glanford Park in the third round. Strikers Louis Saha and Jermaine Beckford scored before the interval and Seamus Coleman, Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines chipped in with goals after the interval as the Toffees marched into the fourth round.
