Fulham v Swansea Live
Coca-Cola Championship surprise package Swansea travel to Craven Cottage to face Fulham in a replay of the Fifth Round of the F A Cup which is live here at oleolefootball.watchlive.net at 20:00 GMT on Tuesday 24th February 2009 with the fa cup live online.
Swansea were surprisingly the dominant side as the two clubs clashed in the Fifth Round at the Liberty Stadium, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Fulham had taken the lead through a Gary Monk own-goal after the Swans captain headed into his own net from a Fulham corner. But Trinidad and Tobago striker Jason Scotland levelled the tie in 52nd minute to take the tie to a replay, with the victors facing the mouth-watering opportunity to meet Manchester United in the quarter-final.
Fulham have not lost at Craven Cottage since the end of September and will look to build on their home form with a much needed cup run as the Premier League side have not reached the quarter finals in five years. Diomansy Kamara has recently returned from injury and is expected to make an appearance whilst Roy Hodgson is expected to rotate much of his squad that played on the weekend.
Swansea are a surprise outside bet for the tie as the newly promoted side have won 7 of their last 10 games, losing only 1 game in their last 18 matches in all competitions. The Welsh club have not reached the quarter-finals since 1964 as Roberto Martinez’s men look to claim another Premiership scalp after sending out Portsmouth in the fourth round.
The Swans have dropped down to 9th in recent weeks but still have a great chance of reaching the play-offs with 6th placed Cardiff just a point off.
