Man Utd v Tottenham Live

Premiership giants Manchester United and Tottenham clash in one of the few all-premiership fourth round ties at 17:15 GMT on Saturday 24^th January.

Manchester United hold the record for most FA Cup titles, winning the competition 11 times in the prestigious history. However, The Red Devils have not won the competition since 2004, where they beat Championship side Millwall 3-0 in the Final at the Millennium Stadium in Wales. United cruised past Southampton 3-0 in the third round with Wellbeck, Nani and Gibson all on the scoresheet.

United will be without star striker Wayne Rooney, as the England international suffered a hamstring injury last week in the club’s 1-0 win against Wigan. However, with Sir Alex Ferguson announcing that he is set to field a young side against Derby in the Carling Cup semi-final, few would be surprised to see a weakened side turn out against Tottenham on Saturday.

Tottenham also have a rich history in the F.A Cup, winning the competition eight times, most recently in 1991 beating Nottingham Forest 2-1 at Wembley for a then record 8^th time. Tottenham also overcame Premiership opposition in the third round, seeing off Wigan 3-1. Tottenham are likely to field a full strength side as the club hope to claim yet another trophy in two season after claiming the Carling Cup in 2008 with a 2-1 Chelsea.

The last time the two sides met the game finished in an uneventful 0-0 draw and both sides will have Carling Cup semi-final ties to focus on before the clash on Saturday. Tottenham travel to Burnley with a 4-1 lead whereas Manchester United host Championship side Derby trailing 1-0 after the first tie.
