The Potters will welcome Avram Grant’s West Ham United to the Britannia stadium for a FA Cup quarter final clash on Saturday March 12th 2011. Stoke have already had some tough games in this competition and the match against West Ham will prove to be just as big a challenge for Tony Pulis. The Hammers have begun to turn their season around right at the critical time. See which team are the worthy of the Semis on the night with live streams at oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
Stoke have just lost to West Ham in their Premier League meeting last Saturday in a three goals to nothing thrashing which could be repeated in the Britannia if Pulis fails to get a grip on his players. The last time Stoke won was in the FA Cup against Brighton and Hove Albion but they have lost two and drawn one of their last three games against Premiership opposition since.
Avram Grant has been on the wrong end of a few opinions in football this year but they will all be forgiven if he can do the same with West Ham as he did with Portsmouth in the FA Cup when they faced relegation. West Ham United are not quite in the same position though as two wins in a row have lifted them from the drop zone and many fans would be happy to concentrate on Premier League survival rather than cup success. See how they play with live streaming FA Cup quarter final action from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
