The second game on the opening day of the Emirates Cup sees the hosts Arsenal take on the Rossoneri in front of their home crowd. Arsenal won the last edition of the tournament and manager Arsene Wenger will be hoping for a repeat this year from his young side.

Arsenal’s pre-season run has been immaculate so far. They have won all three games scoring eleven times without even conceding a single goal – a stat that bodes well for a tournament wherein you are awarded a point for each goal scored.

Last year, young Jack Wilshere was chosen as MoM for both Arsenal games while Andrei Arshavin was voted Man of the tournament. Both these stars along with new signing Marouane Chamakh will be the ones to look out for in Arsenal’s line-up.

Massimiliano Allegri would be hoping to try out different systems and player combinations before Milan’s pre-season tour to the USA. In their only friendly so far, they lost 0-2 to lowly Varese. A lot of young talent including the likes of Amelia, Borriello, Oduamadi and Pato could be given an extended run-out. Ronaldinho and Nesta are struggling with injuries and will not be risked.
