The Barnet vs Arsenal game is the traditional curtain raiser to the Gunners’ pre-season campaign. Belgian centre half Thomas Vermaelen made his debut in the 2-2 draw between the two sides last season and it could be turn of striker Marouane Chamakh and defender Laurent Koscielny to make their bow in a Gunners jersey this time around.
