As Barcelona finishes up their tour of America, they move onto San Francisco to Monster Park, treading on the same soil as the San Francisco Forty Niners, when they play Mexican team Chivas Guadalajara on Saturday, August 8^th. The Chivas has the most titles of any Primera Division de Mexico Team, with 11, while Barcelona is one of only three clubs that have never been relegated and is the second best football team in Spain. This year Chivas lost both games played in the Primera Division thus far, the first a one point defeat by Toluca when they played in July and then last week they were again defeated, this time by Tigres 1-3. The goals in the game against Toluca were courtesty of Ramon Morales, Aaron Galindo and Javier Hernandez and Hernandez helped out in the game against the Tigers as well, scoring the one and only goal. However, they just aquired striker Omar Bravo and that may help their record of 2-0 thus far this season.

For Barcelona the opposite is true in a way. They just had their second win in a row while playing in America, beating the Seattle Sounders with the final an impressive 4-0. Earlier, they were able to defeat LA Galaxy as well, that final 2-1. Both of these games have Pedro Rodriguez and Jeffron to thank, as well as forward Lionel Messi to no ones surprise, scoring twice himself in the game against Sounders in the first half of the game.
