The Czech Republic’s next international test sees Michal Bilek’s side take on Denmark in Aarhus on Wednesday. See Denmark vs Czech Republic and other friendlies live from your control panel at Ole Ole Football.

The Czechs will be without the services of Galatasaray forward Milan Baros for this friendly. Baros was the man who starred for the Czechs in their last victory over the Danes- he scored a brace in their 3-0 Euro 2004 quarterfinal win over the Scandinavians.

Since then, the Czechs and the Danes have met twice in international competition, with both fixtures ending in 1-1 draws. Baros scored in the first 1-1 draw, heading home a dramatic equaliser after Peter Loevenkrands had put Denmark ahead. In the other game, Nicklas Bendtner’s opener for Denmark was cancelled out by Jan Koller.

In Baros’ absence, the Czech attack will be spearheaded by newcomers Michal Hubnik and Jan Rezek. Both Hubnik and Rezek ply their trade in the country’s domestic league- for Olomouc and Plzen respectively.
