Juventus will be the clear favourites for the game but Villarreal would love to catch them by surprise and pull out a win. After a huge win the Peace Cup against Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid, Juventus was stunned in the finals with a loss to Aston Villa. A lot of the plan was put onto Alexandro Del Piero after he missed a penalty kick that may have been able to seal the victory for the team.

On the other side of the ball a lot of pressure will be put onto Robert Pires, Cani and Diego Godin to shut down Juventus and help Villarreal cement their status as a team to look out for this year. If Villarreal can come out with a win in would go a long way to building their confidence for the real season.
