The Gunners successfully defended their Emirates Cup title last week. They started off with a draw against Italian giants AC Milan and then beat Glasgow Celtic 3-2 to finish three points ahead of their nearest rivals.

New Moroccan signing Marouane Chamakh netted against Milan while Mexican starlet Carlos Vela, Bacary Sagna and Samir Nasri were on target against Celtic. The Gunners had to stave off a late fight back from Celtic, but managed to run out 3-2 winners. Manager Arsene Wenger has already said that he will give most of his Emirates Cup players a run out on Saturday.

Polish fans of Arsenal will however not get to see skipper Cesc Fabregas or World Cup finalist Robin Van Persie in action. The duo will not play any part in this fixture. Legia finished fourth in the Polish Ekstraklasa last season, thirteen points behind champions Lech Poznan.
