This is the All-Star team’s sixth consecutive game against British opposition.  The All Stars have won four of those five games, with the sole exception being last year’s game at the Rio Tinto Stadium in Utah. English side Everton won that fixture on penalties after the scores were tied 1-1 at full time.

Chelsea, Fulham, West Ham United and Celtic have all suffered defeat against the All-Stars team in the past and Manchester United will be hoping not to join that list on Wednesday evening.

The Red Devils have had an eventful tour of North America so far. They beat Celtic in Toronto and Philadelphia Union in Philly but lost to the Kansas City Wizards in their last game. Bulgarian forward Dimitar Berbatov scored the only goal for Man United against the Wizards.
