Wednesday, August 12^th it's an International Friendly between Montenegro and Wales. Wales has been somewhat unremarkable since the year that they qualified for the 1958 FIFA World Cup. Since then, they haven't been able to qualify for a single international tournament. The team is governed by the Football Association of Wales and they were put into Group four this season joining Germany, Russia, Finland, Azerbaijan and Liechtenstein. Montenegro is a new club, having just began after the 2006 Cup and it is unclear yet how they will play out once they get themselves situated and are able to test out their competition over the course of a few seasons.

Montenegro got their UEFA membership on January 26^th of 2007. They went on to play in their very first game as a UEFA Member, an international friendly against Hungary and actually defeated them the first time with a final of 2-1. Montenegro also played at the 2007 Kirin Cup, but they weren't able to bring that same momentum and ended up finishing dead last. When they obtained their membership they were the FIFA's 208^th member. Last year, in March, Montenegro had a great win over Norway, finishing up 3-1.

Wales will be bringing the following players along when they play Montenegro at the Gradski Stadium in Bulgaria, along with many others of course. Most notably, Craig Bellamy, Simon Church, Robert Earnshaw and Sam Vokes as forwards, with Bellamy as skipper, Goalkeepers Wayne Hennesy and Lewis Price. Bellamy has sixteen goals and fifty six caps while Earnshaw has forty five caps and just fourteen goals.
