Another International Friendly this Wednesday, August 12th, as Northern Ireland take on Israel. The game takes place at Windsor Park and manager for Northern Ireland, Nigel Worthington will be taking his team to what he hopes is a victory on Wednesday. One name that has impressed Worthington and is sure to be on the field on Wednesday is 23 year old team captain Colin Coates, having shown some very impressive moves in the game against Italy. This match is available in high quality live video feeds right here on oleolefootball.watchlive.net when you get your exclusive membership.
So Colin Coates will definitely be starting for the Belfast team, and a couple of other names that are likely are Ryan McGovern, Andrew Little and Niall McGinn. Worthington knows that they have qualifiers coming up, one right after the other against Poland and Slovakia next month and the team needs to warm up now to be ready for it. Among the key players that he has named are David Healy, an unstoppable force with thirty five goals, Aaron Hughes, the regular captain for the squad and Mark Taylor, the goalkeeper who debuted in 1999 and who currently has over seventy caps for Northern Ireland.
Israel hasn't qualified for a UEFA World Cup since 1970, but actually has a fair history since joining the European Groupings in 1991. In '93, Israel were able to defeat France on their own turf in Paris 3-2 and then went on to defeat Austria as well. It wasn't until 1994 that Israel received full UEFA Membership however, but would go all the way to the playoff of Euro 2000 before being stopped by Denmark. This will be a fun game to watch and be interesting to see who hits the field on Wednesday. Get your membership at the banners on this page and you can watch the match in high quality right from your PC. Don't miss the international friendly match between Northern Ireland and Israel on Wednesday, August 12th.
