International Friendlies continue when the Rangers takes on PSG on Saturday, August 1^st, 2009. Paris Saint Germain supposed to have just finished up another friendly with Panthrakikos, but that game was postponed. In the other League One matches played since May, they lost to Stade Rennes, and Le Mans 0-1, and lost to Auxierre and Valenciennes 2-1. The only bright light was a draw against Moanco May 30^th. The Rangers have a much more impressive record these past few months, winning every Premier League game with the exception of one draw Hibernian, and winning one match in The Scottish Cup, and one friendly against FC Nurnburg.

PSG began in 1904 under the name Stade Saint Germain. The French Football club merged with Paris FC in 1970, which also brough a merge of the two names. They were the League One champs in France twice, once in 1986 and once in 1994. They also have taken the Coupe de France seven times since 1982. In the UEFA the team won the Winner's Cup in 1996 and the Intertoto Cup in 2001. The current squad consists of thirty players, all but eight of them from France, and they are captained by Claude Makelele and co-captained by Sylvain Armand.

As for the Rangers, this Scottish team started up around 1872 and currently play in the Scottish Premier League. They are based in Glasgow and they play home games at the Ibrox Stadium, which can hold over 50,000 fans. The Rangers are responsible for a total of fifty two domestic league trophies, a feat that is notable because they are the only team in the world to have taken home that many.
