Brazil were too strong for Zimbabwe a few days ago in Harare. Goals from Michel Fernandes Bastos, Robinho and Elano Blumer gave Dunga’s men a 3-0 win. It was the Samba Boys’ fourth straight international win after victories over England, Oman and Ireland. Brazil started off slowly against Zimbabwe, but got into their stride as the game progressed. The result could have been different had Zimbabwe capitalised on early chances in the game.

Tanzania are only marginally higher than Zimbabwe in FIFA’s rankings system. The Taifa Stars are 108^th, while Zimbabwe are 110^th.  Brazil, on the other hand, are right at the top of the table, a comfortable distance ahead of second placed Spain. Tanzania were most recently seen in action against Rwanda in the African nations Championship.
