The United States of America will welcome Argentina to the New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey for a friendly fixture that will be anything but friendly on the pitch. The USA has a point to prove with coach Bob Bradley controversially selecting many players from around the globe rather than relying heavily on MLS selection. The Argentinean national team have also had to deal with some different selections because of injuries to players. See which team gels together on the say with live streaming from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
The Argentina team will have to do without Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguerro both of whom are a massive loss as their creativity is relied upon. Manager Sergio Batista has said that it is to give a fresh younger look to the squad although many believe that it had more to do with the clubs refusing to risk players especially Tevez who has been out of the Manchester City squad due to injury. Barcelona have made no such motions though as both Javier Mashcerano and star man Lionel Messi will feature and also Javier Zanetti who at 37 must be the Sergio Batista’s referred to youthful element.
The USA team will be littered with players from Europe who are looking to earn their permanent place in the team ahead of the Goncacaf Cup this summer. Marcus Hahnemann and Tim Howard will battle it out for the right to the number 1 shirt and Jermaine Jones, Michael Bradley, Clint Dempsey and Stuart Holden will all fly from the English Premier League to stake their claim on a USA shirt. See which players deserve the call up by watching live streaming from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
