The news this year has not been good for Arsenal in many ways and they will definitely be fighting an uphill battle after the loss of star players to the competition. Rumors have also been swirling around the possible arrival of Patrick Viera from Inter Milan. Such a move could make a huge impact for the team and get the fans excited about their chances.

Unlike Arsenal, Valencia somehow managed to hold onto a number of their top players, even though Manchester United and other teams came knocking. Man U made a strong play for both David Villa and Davis Silva but the club stuck to their guns to see if they can make an impact this year.
