Juve’s Scudetto hopes were dashed on Saturday as they could only draw with leaders Inter. Defender Zdenek Grygera headed home Juve’s equaliser in stoppage time after Mario Balotelli had give Inter the lead. The gap between Juve and Inter is now a whopping 10 points, and fans have acknowledged that Juve’s chances of winning the title are now non existent.

Juve lost the first leg of the semifinal 2-1 in Rome. Marco Marchionni gave them the lead in the first half, but strikes from Goran Pandev and Tommaso Rocchi gave Lazio a 2-1 win. The Bianconeri now have a big task ahead of them in the second leg. Mauro Camoranesi and Claudio Marchisio will both be available for selection after missing the Inter game through suspension.

Mauro Zarate scored the winner as Lazio beat Champions League chasing Genoa 1-0 on Saturday. The result came on the back of a thrilling 4-2 win for the Biancocelesti against Old City rivals Roma.

Lazio coach Delio Rossi does not have to remind his defence about the threat that Alessandro Del Piero possesses. The wily veteran still has loads of tricks up his sleeve, and if he comes to the party, Juventus are more than capable of overturning their 2-1 deficit from the first leg.

The winner of this tie will play either Sampdoria or Inter Milan in the final. Expect Juve to come out all guns blazing, for the Coppa Italia is the only trophy they can add to their cabinet.
