Barcelona will welcome visitors Almeria to the Camp Nou on Saturday April 9 for a La Liga fixture in which Barcelona will look to increase their four point lead on Rea Madrid. The Spanish League leaders have eight games left before they lift the trophy and will not want to let complacency set in. Almeria are in bottom place in La Liga and although they are just four points from safety they already seem destined to go down. See what happens when Almeria go to Barcelona on Saturday with live steaming La Liga at oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
The Catalan Giants will have played a tough game against Ukrainian league leaders on Wednesday but should have enough players in the squad to make sure they field a strong side against Almeria. With Lionel Messi joint on 27 goals with Cristiano Ronaldo as La Liga top scorer the Argentinean will be keen to play every game to increase his tally. Just two of his goals have come from penalties whereas Ronaldo has found the net for six of his tally. David Villa who is the league’s third top scorer has also been prolific and he too will be expected to link up with Messi.
Almeria have no striker anywhere in the top fifteen scorers in the league and that lack of goals may well have contributed to their demise in the top flight this year. With their top scorer Piatti on seven goals the best that Almeria could hope for against Barcelona is a draw. See how they do with live streams from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.

Barcelona have now played five games so far this season in La Liga and have won them all. Nevertheless, they still sit second in the league table behind arch rivals real Madrid, and this virtue of just one goal concede more than their rivals; Real have a goal difference of 15-2, and Barca have 15-3.
Last weekend Barcelona travelled to Malaga and came away with the expected victory – 2-0 this time. Goals from free scoring new signing Ibrahimovic in the 39th minute of the contest, and another from Pique on 59 minutes sealed the deal for the Catalan giants. Ibrahimovic’ capture from AC Milan is beginning to look like a shrewd piece of business by the Barcelona hierarchy, despite the misgivings of Samuel Eto’o being part of the deal. Ibrahimovic has now scored four league goals in five games and appears to be relishing life in Spain.
Striker Thierry Henry is a fitness doubt for Saturday, and he is already ruled out of Tuesday evening’s Champions League game against Dynamo Kiev. Ukrainian defender Dmytro Chygrynskiy will definitely be missing from the game after picking up a knee ligament strain in the game against Malaga.
For their part, Almeria travel to Barcelona on the back of a 2-2 draw at home with racing Santander last Sunday and are now sitting mid-table (eleventh) in the La Liga table with six points. Away they have yet to record a victory, with one draw and one defeat from their two games.
