The Catalan’s now have a perfect four out of four start to the season and their goal difference is already up to plus eleven. They have scored fourteen goals which means they are averaging a very impressive three and a half goals per game so far.

For their part, Malaga had yet to play their midweek fixture at the time of writing this article, but were due to face Espanyol away. Prior to that game they had play three times, winning once and losing twice.
