While Birmingham fell to Manchester United on the weekend they still came out hard and really gave United a run for their money. Portsmouth managed a few chances but rarely tested the Fulham squad and didn’t seem fully prepared for the season.

If Birmingham can come out with the same effort they brought into the game with Manchester United then they should be able to turn things around. Portsmouth on the other hand will need a much better effort from the team all around if they want to compete in their second game of the season.
