Birmingham will play host to Tony Pulis’ Stoke City in the English Premier League this Saturday 12th February 2011. Alex McLeish will look to use the home advantage and beat Stoke City after a run of three away defeats. Both Birmingham and Stoke have beaten big teams this year but against evenly matched competition they haven’t raised their game quite as much. See how things go with live streaming football from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
Birmingham City have been getting some decent results in the league but they haven’t won any of their last five games at St. Andrews. Alex McLeish has signed ex-Newcastle striker Obafemi Martins from Rubin but the Nigerian striker is yet to make his debut for the Birmingham team. He will though make his first appearance against Stoke on Saturday after getting his Visa clearance through on Tuesday and he should definitely be one to watch out for. He should be able to link up well with Zigic as the two front men have different styles that will complement each other.
It’s no secret that Stoke City’s manager Tony has done a lot with his resources this year but his best move may have been taking Carew from Aston Villa. The Norwegian striker found the net for Stoke last week and eventually the team went on to win by three goals to two. He may have been just what Stoke needs at just the right time because he will score for Stoke. Their top goal scorer in the league is Robert Huth who has contributed six from defence and is joined on six goals with Dean Whitehead in the midfield. See if they score against Birmingham with live streaming football from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.

Stoke City got off to a good start this season with an important victory but were dominated by Liverpool in their most recent game. Stoke was unable to get anything going offensively and had a very difficult time shutting down a high powered Liverpool team as they lost by a final score of 0-4. Liverpool scored within the first five minutes as Torres scored and then Steven Gerrard led the way for the rest of the game. Stoke City and manager Tony Pulis will need much better performances from players such as James Beattie and Ryan Shawcross if they hope to win against Birmingham.
Birmingham City played a spirited game against Manchester United in their first game of the year and only lost by a score of 0-1. They then bounced right back and managed to upset Portsmouth thanks to a penalty from James McFadden in the 90th minute. While the victory may not have been overly convincing, it was a huge boost of confidence for the team heading into their next game.
