The Spurs fans though will travel with the belief that they are going to be entertained. If things go right for the home side then it could see them in a good position ahead of the Christmas period. Amazingly Birmingham beat another London club Chelsea at St. Andrews recently which will give them lots of confidence. Although Birmingham had been looking at the table from the bottom up for a while they have now put together a nice little run which have boosted morale. After taking seven points from a possible nine in their last three home games they could well hold Tottenham this weekend. With Jerome and Zigic scoring and being helped by goals from Ridgewell they could prove tough for Spurs to beat.
Harry Redknapp will have to make some changes too because of injuries. Their biggest loss will be Rafael van de Vaart who went off early on in the game against Liverpool. He is expected to be out until the end of the year as is Kaboul. Van de Vaart felt his hamstring tear and Kaboul may have damaged muscles in his hip. This game though should be one that Harry still manages to get the win and the inclusion of Gareth Bale could be decisive. See the whole game live and decide for yourself who deserves the win with live streaming football from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.
Birmingham City entertain Tottenham Hotspur at St. Andrews in the Premier League this coming Saturday afternoon in a game that is vital for both teams aspirations for this season. With Birmingham still on an unbeaten run that stretches twelve league games (prior to the midweek games each team is playing before the weekend fixtures), and Tottenham faltering somewhat of late, the game is expected to be an exhilarating one. Join us right here at oleolefootball.watchlive.net and enjoy the live streaming football from the English Premier League in all its glory.
As there is a full program of Premier League fixtures in the midweek prior to the weekend's games, the actual league positions of the two teams come Saturday afternoon is unknown (at the time of writing this article the midweek fixtures have yet to be played). What is sure is that Birmingham have been on a long unbeaten run but a Wednesday evening fixture away to Chelsea is bound to test this run to its limit.
Regardless, the Midlands team has caught everybody’s eye with the run they have been on, and win, lose or draw against Chelsea on Wednesday evening will not detract from the fact that Spurs face a very difficult fixture on Saturday afternoon. Birmingham have played eleven home games so far this season in the Premier League – they have won five, drawn four and lost two of the games.
Spurs face a midweek game against Fulham at White Hart Lane before travelling to Birmingham at the weekend, but prior to that they lost their last league outing which was a 2-0 defeat at Anfield against Liverpool.
