Blackburn has not been quite a performer this season winning only 2 of its 7 combats and a draw. They were humiliated badly in a 6-2 defeat to Arsenal last week. They started off well with an early 5th minute goal from Nzonzi and again a 31st minute strike from Dunn but after that Arsenal took away the show with its 6 players scoring a goal each. Dunn has shown some pretty good performance this season but has failed to get appropriate support from the defence which has been penetrated many a times.

Burnley too has been inconsistent with the performance this season but the previous home victory against Birmingham City should definitely be some help to the team confidence. The first half of the match was pretty uneventful but the second half showed some action with 3 goals being scored in total. Fletcher and Andre Bikey scored for Burnley in the 53rd and 61st minute respectively to extend their 100 percent home record to four matches. Burnley had some pretty good strategy this match with the team playing 4-2-3-1, which congested the middle of the pitch heavily, giving very few chances to the opposite attackers.

Both the teams have had a pretty on & off season and its difficult to prejudge any of them.
