Ewood Park will be the venue for Blackburn v West Ham United Live on Saturday the 18 of December for a premier league fixture. Blackburn Rovers are still at thirteenth in the table and they are now without Sam Allardyce in charge after the team’s Indian owners sacked him this week. Avraam Grant has been the subject of speculation too as the Israeli manager has been unable to get acceptable results at Green Street. See which team has the upper hand with live streaming premier league football at oleolefootball.watchlive.net.

With Blackburn looking for a new manager lots of names have been put forward and the paper talk is of an offer to Argentinean Legend Diego Maradona. The owners will have to cope with a dressing room backlash though as the players had plenty of respect for Allardyce. The unrest is likely to have an effect on the performance of the players as they take on the London club at Ewood this Saturday. The fans are just hoping that there is not a mass exodus of players like Diouf and Pederson who will probably follow Big Sam if he takes a position at another club straight away. Bizarrely his sacking comes just days after Capello named him as his potential replacement.

West Ham manager Avraam Grant will not be too happy to know that the favourite to replace him at West Ham is Sam Allardyce who is obviously available. The owners are said to be keeping a close eye on things in the London club and are meeting to make some ‘big decisions’ at the beginning of next week presumably pending the result against Blackburn. See how they line up and watch the game with live streaming football from oleolefootball.watchlive.net.

Even though it is early in the season, this weekend will prove to be quite important for both Blackburn and West Ham utd. West Ham will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing loss to Tottenham on the weekend although they should take comfort in the fact that they played well. On the other hand Blackburn has not been able to win a game so far as of yet and need one soon. Can Blackburn finally get some points on the board or will West Ham bounce back from their loss? Tune into OleOleFootball and watch Blackburn vs. West Ham Utd live to find out.

West Ham fell late to Tottenham on the weekend even though they stayed in the game and competed the best they could. Aaron Lennon scored late in the 79th minute which would prove to be the winning goal and the demise of West Ham on that day. Carlton Cole scored a wonderful goal in the 49th minute to put the Hammers ahead but it wasn’t enough. They will need to play a more complete game this weekend if they want to finish up with a better outcome.

Blackburn will undoubtedly be the underdogs in this game but will have quite a lot to prove. They need to do whatever it takes to prepare better as another loss would leave them with a long way to claw back into the middle of the standings. While they did manage to jump ahead in their last game thanks to a goal from Gael Givet it was not enough thanks to a strong game and two goals from Kenwyne Jones.

Blackburn face West Ham at Ewood Park searching for three points to aid their fight against relegation with Rovers only one point clear of the bottom three. Blackburn have been inconsistent this season and their recent results show that they need to improve if they are going to beat the drop to the Championship. They were thumped 4-0 at Arsenal last weekend and there was controversy as Morten Gamst Pedersen produced a comical dive and earned himself a yellow card. The Norwegian has been criticised and will want to make up for his poor recent performances.

Gael Givet is a doubt after picking up a knee injury at Arsenal and Vince Grella is absent due to a groin strain. Midfielders Steven Reid and Brett Emerton are ruled out for the rest of the season with knee injuries.

West Ham are currently sitting seventh in the Premier league with just nine games remaining. They know that seventh could be enough for a place in the Europa League next season. The Hammers have suffered off the pitch this week losing the Carlos Tevez court case and they could have to pay up to £25 million in compensation to Sheffield United. On the pitch West Ham could only manage a 0-0 draw at home to West Brom on Monday, but before that draw they claimed two wins on the trot.

Gianfranco Zola has major injury concerns ahead of this clash. Matthew Upson has been ruled out of this clash with a calf strain. Zola will also have to do without defenders James Collins and Danny Gabbidon who have hamstring and back injuries respectively. Better news for the Italian is that Diego Tristan and Kieron Dyer are both back in training after injury.
