With ten points in their first seven games, Blackpool will be hoping to pick up the three points and keep their 2010/2011 season on track. With a very good start to this season, Manchester City will enter the game as strong favourites and will be confident of coming away with the three points. Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City starting eleven will probably consist of defenders Vincent Kompany and Kolo Toure who could play alongside Lescott in an attempt of providing Manchester City with a strong defence. First team regular Yaya Toure is doubtful to occupy part of the midfield due to a knee problem and may find himself watching James Milner, Gareth Barry and David Silva play in the midfield. On form Striker Carlos Tevez is almost a certainty to start up front and with a few goals to his name this season he may prove to play an important role in Manchester City’s hopes of success this season. 

Ian Holloway’s starting line-up will likely feature defenders Stephen Crainey and Evatt who may be joined by Cathcart and Welshman Eardley. Welsh midfielder David Vaughan is almost a certainty to play in the midfield alongside crowd favourite Charlie Adam.
