The Baggies have beaten the Tangerines in the last four meetings between the two sides, including two 3-2 wins when the two sides were competing in the Championship last season.

West Brom are currently sixth in the table after nine rounds of fixtures in the Premier League. Roberto di Matteo’s men are only two points behind the triumvirate of Arsenal, Man United and Man City, who together occupy second place.

Strikes from Youssuf Mulumbu and Marc Antoine Fortune gave West Brom a 2-1 victory over Mark Hughes’ Fulham side last weekend. Blackpool however did not taste success as they went down rather tamely to Alex McLeish’s Birmingham City away from home. The Tangerines are currently in 14^th place with ten points to their name.
